In 2024, we fell short. We didn't make it to the final pitch.

Rather than seeing it as failure, we saw it as an opportunity to improve. We refined our innovation, strengthened our business model, and remained committed to solving a real challenge facing agriculture. In 2025, that perseverance was rewarded when NutriPod emerged as one of the winners of the Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) AgriTech Challenge Pro Final Pitch.

Originally developed under MelDak Agro, Nutripodx is now an independent agritech company transforming agricultural waste into sustainable livestock and poultry feed.

Every year, thousands of tonnes of cocoa pod husks are discarded after harvest. As they decompose, they release methane, a potent greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change. At the same time, livestock farmers face rising feed costs because both humans and animals compete for the same grains, driving up prices.

Nutripodx addresses both challenges with one innovative solution. We convert discarded cocoa pod husks into nutritious livestock and poultry feed, reducing agricultural waste, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and providing farmers with a more affordable alternative to conventional feed.

Our Theory of Change

We believe that when agricultural waste is transformed into valuable animal feed, everyone benefits. Farmers gain access to affordable feed, production costs are reduced, pressure on grain supplies is eased, environmental pollution is minimized, and greenhouse gas emissions are reduced. The result is a more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agricultural system.
